Maintained to the highest standards, our breathtaking course has earned a reputation as a gem amongst parkland courses, featuring elevated tees, sloping fairways, and hills which are complemented by well-manicured lakes, and ponds providing stunning views and challenging hazards.
We have a well-stocked pro shop which offers a friendly bespoke service and has a great choice of golf equipment and attire. The shop has a high-tech golf simulator, where our club professional will help to elevate your skills to new levels.
Our multi room clubhouse is not just a haven for golfers, it hosts hospitality through its fine dining, and features a plethora of regular events and entertainment, ensuring that our golf members and visitors, experience not just a round of golf, but have a memorable experience too.

I am honoured and really delighted to have been elected Ladies’ Captain of Grimsby Golf club for 2024
I began golfing myself only 6 years ago after I was introduced to the sport from someone who had been playing the game for over 20 years. I had always been a sporty teenager with County athletics and Netball but hadn’t partaken in any sport since then. Golf for me has been an amazing journey so far, I have found a sport that I truly love both on the course and off it. It has helped me relax, socialise, laugh, take regular exercise on some of the most beautiful golf courses up and down the country and also abroad. It is a sport with so much worldwide enjoyment for all ages and all abilities. Playing golf also has the added bonus of meeting new people and making new friends.
We have a very friendly and supportive Ladies’ Section at Grimsby Golf Club who are more than happy to welcome players of all ages and abilities, whether a novice or seasoned handicapper. We run a successful Ladies Academy with taster sessions and lessons with our very own club professional and we operate a ‘buddy’ system where a new lady member will be shown the ropes and introduced around by one of our long-standing lady members.
The ladies’ competitions take place on Tuesday mornings and Sunday mornings which includes both 18 and 9 holes, depending on your preference. These take place throughout the year, which also includes fun competitions throughout the winter months, to encourage all who are new to the game or have less time to spare.
Alongside our own Club competitions, the ladies’ section also travel on Club exchange days. This is where the ladies visit and play golf courses outside of our own region. We have Sunday Driver events, which are so much fun and the ladies get to stay, socialise and play over a 2-day trip. We also play in open events and mixed trophy competitions which creates a lot of interest, fun golf and socialising afterwards.
Both myself and our Ladies’ Vice-Captain, Sue Collis, look forward to welcoming new members and all our guests to Grimsby Golf Club during the coming year.
