All Year Round Golf

Grimsby is without question one of the best golf courses in Lincolnshire during the summer months and following a number of projects to improve drainage, our course is rarely closed during the winter months. During the winter of 2021/2022 our golf course was only closed on two occasions due to adverse weather.

Regular Competitions

As well as being able to play social golf at Grimsby we have plenty of competitions to enter. Both weekend and midweek competitions are available to play in so you can test yourself and hopefully win prizes too!

Members guests

Members can introduce guests at a discounted rate. At any one time you can introduce up to 3 guests and they will pay a reduced green fee. So as a member not only is it you that benefits, your friends benefit too. You could be a hero amongst your friends if you could save them money on golf fees!

Clubhouse and Catering

Aside from the golf at Grimsby we are proud to have superb caterers and bar staff. So, whether you have just finished a round of golf, or just call in on your way home, you can enjoy a fantastic meal or a relaxing drink in our unique clubhouse. The view from the lounge down the 1st fairway and 18th green on a nice summers evening is beautiful.

Networking benefits

This is an area of golf club membership that is ignored massively. Would you like to get access to a whole new customer base? Health benefits

Whether you are a competitive golfer looking to compete for trophies, or a more casual golfer looking for some exercise, the health benefits are undeniable. During an 18 hole round you will walk approximately 5 miles and burn around 2000 calories. This provides a great way to keep fit and healthy.

Friendship

Last, but by no means least, are the friends you can make. We have had numerous golfers join the club without regular golfing partners and now they are playing regularly with groups of other members and enjoying their golf. We have a senior section, ladies section, A and B teams, and several regular roll-ups that all welcome new players. Golf has a great way of helping new people to meet and enjoy their leisure time.

* Eligibility criteria includes, the requirement that your employment would require you to work and stay away from Grimsby for more than 6 months of the year

Community Membership – £585
As part of our commitment to ensure the game of golf is open to all, Grimsby Golf Club offer a category of membership for those on a low/modest income. This category is available without discrimination to persons who can reasonably demonstrate that the full membership fees would be unaffordable. The category includes unlimited golf over 4 nominated days (3 weekdays + 1 weekend day) and includes eligibility to enter club competitions played on any of the 4 nominated days. Enquiries regarding this membership and acceptable proof of unaffordability of other membership categories should be made to the club manager.

Intermediate Memberships

The intermediate categories have been banded by age, existing members will automatically be transferred into the appropriate band for their age each year.

Junior Memberships

* Access to club competitions once full WHS handicap has been attained.

Chaperone Membership - £235
We are delighted to advise our Mums and Dads that Grimsby Golf club will now offer “Chaperone Membership”.

Which enables our junior players aged 5 –16 years to be accompanied by a playing adult. This could be either a parent or guardian and gives the chaperone access to play 9 holes of golf with the junior, supporting, encouraging, helping and advising our young players, enabling them to get on the course more frequently. It makes it both safer and more fun. The membership will allow players to play 9 holes of golf, once daily, if accompanied by a junior.

Membership is Monday to Friday 7.30 til dusk and Saturday and Sunday 1pm til dusk.

Parents who are not members of another golf club can play with their child for an annual fee of £230.

This membership allows play only when accompanying their child.

Members must undertake an initial induction with our club professional and must book in advance on BRS, and check in prior to play, to comply with health and safety.

All players must have own clubs, shoes and the golf clubs dress code must be adhered to.

Academy Membership -£335
* New to golf membership
* Limited access to the course
* No access to club competitions
* 5 x 30 minute Lessons included
* 9/18-hole access to the course once approved by the club professional
* Until such a time, Academy members must be accompanied by another member until signed off by the club professional

Corporate Memberships
* Are also available
* Price on application to the Manager

Trial Membership – £230
* 8 x 18 hole rounds of golf
* No restriction on times
* No access to club competitions
* Rounds must be played within 60 days
