The warmest of welcomes to Grimsby Golf Club, where I have the honour of being captain for the 2026 season.
We strongly believe that our Harry Colt designed course, offers a beautiful and unique experience for golfers of every type. Most notably many of our visitor’s marvel at how undulating and extremely picturesque the course is, and how much they have enjoyed the challenges of this Lincolnshire Jewel.
To complement the stunning course, our large clubhouse offers a warm and friendly environment for visitors and members alike. Serving everything from drinks to full meals, including our legendary Grimsby Fish & chips. The clubhouse is not only available to golfers but can be booked for special functions of all types including wakes & weddings.
Our Pro-shop, headed by club professional Karl Worby is always well stocked and ready to help golfers in any way needed during their visit.
Travelling golfers can also benefit from the club’s location being right next door to the Humber Royal Hotel which also overlooks parts of the course. So, whether you are visiting by yourself or are planning to visit with friends or even a society, please don’t hesitate to contact the club, so we can cater for your every need.
Finally, I very much hope that everyone who does visit enjoys the course as much as we do, and we look forward to seeing many new faces in 2026 and beyond.

Hello and welcome to Grimsby Golf Club, I am currently the Ladies Captain for 2025/26, which is indeed an honor and a pleasure, also having held a place on the Board of Directors for the last 2 years, which has been a challenge.
Being a proud golfing member of this prestigious course since 2000, I was delighted to have been asked to take on the role of Lady Captain, I am truly looking forward to a great year ahead.
My time here has been a joy, meeting and making lifelong friendships, playing with the Ladies and in some of our mixed competitions also playing at a multitude of other courses, enjoying some great golf along the way.
Our course really is a hidden gem, with its parkland layout and tricky undulating fairways, incredible views and challenging par 3’s, we have a friendly, inviting atmosphere and the clubhouse is a good place for a drink or two and maybe something to eat after your game.
I am truly blessed and would like to thank everyone who visits our beautiful course, hoping you enjoy it as much as I do.
